What to Bring

The Barn is stocked with all of the basic essentials that you will need for your stay including paper products, linens, and cookware.  There are, however, a few things that you should consider bringing with you for the duration of your stay that are not provided:
  • Laundry detergent/fabric softener
  • Soap, shampoo, and other personal hygiene products
  • Hand sanitizer
  •  Extra pillows (in case you have a favorite :-)
  • Sleeping bags (if you plan on sleeping more than 4 people)
  • Air mattresss
  • Coffee, tea and other favorite beverages

No food is provided for guests, but the full kitchen makes it easy and convenient to cook your own meals.
Here is a simple list of things that we recommend that you bring for your convenience, and also to replenish the items that you use during your stay:
  • Phone card for long distance calls.  The phone service is not capable of making long-distance calls, so a phone card is essential if you need to contact anyone out of the local area.
  • Extra toilet paper (it is about a 30 minute drive into town :-)
  • Napkins or paper towels
  • Small box of matches
